This antique 1800 Old Paris porcelain sugar bowl lid with figural paintings and handles is a rare and beautiful piece of vintage decor. Handmade in France in the early 1800s, this two-piece set features intricate hand-painted landscapes on a glossy finish.

There was a note inside which I left as someone went through the trouble to write it. They say 1795 for date.

There is staining on the rim, (I think it’s probably not glazed there) particularly on the lid. I did not want to clean as I didn’t want to damage the gilding which does have some losses. There may be scratches or maybe it’s paint — see photos for condition. Look at photos for measurements, I think about 5.5” tall to top of finial, hard to say.
