Optical Inspection Policy

We take the quality of our lenses seriously. Each lens undergoes a thorough visual inspection based on the following standards:

Transmitted Light Test: Every lens is inspected by holding it up to a light source (standard indoor lighting) to check for clarity. This allows us to ensure there is no fungus or major haze that would affect your images.

Practical Standards: We do not use high-intensity LED spotlights, as they can reveal microscopic imperfections that even factory-new lenses possess. Our inspection focuses on real-world performance.

Our Promise: If a lens looks clear when held up to the light, we list it as a functional, high-quality item. We believe this is the most honest way to represent gear intended for actual photography.
