This is a beautiful, vintage Windowpane TWEED Check Overcoat COVERT COAT Jacket – By John Brocklehurst.

Colour: TWEED GREEN, handcrafted using pure English Wool, and finished in a large windowpane check, throughout. This is complemented and contrasted with a dark brown velour, for the notch lapel collar.

*Very good, used vintage condition, but please note the following; i) There x3 very small holes, (to the lining), around the inside left pocket, ii) There is some very minor areas of discolouration to the lining, and iii) No size label can be located inside the coat – therefore, please see measurements. This overcoat, (by Brocklehurst’s of Bakewell), beautifully captures the traditional aspects of that classic countryside look. It has been fully handcrafted, (using Scottish sourced tweed/wool), and was woven on the Hebridean Island of Islay. The label also features the signature of Gordon Covell of Islay Woollen Mill. The Mill specialises in weaving high-quality tweed fabrics, using traditional techniques and looms. The fabrics produced at the Mill have gained international recognition, being featured in several Hollywood films. Offering comfort and style, this coat is an absolute must-have for the country gent.

Very good, used vintage condition, and all the quality you would expect from John Brocklehurst. John Brocklehurst are renowned for their excellent quality merchandise, and this overcoat is a great example of that. Anyone familiar with this very high-end/premium, British brand, will know just how good the quality is. Only selling as my brother in law has too many coats in his collection now. It is not in pristine condition, but being sold in very good, used vintage condition.
