Antique hand made cotton collapsible calash ladies bonnet
1. very hard  to find item
2. many of these were silk , this is a silk blend
3. all over  good condition, not perfect
4. part of ruffle in front needs to be attached
5. no holes not torn
6. ties are gross grain ribbon probably not original
7. notice original label, Hooker Howe, Haverhill Mass
8. lining missing side back, to cover the stiffening
9. this is hand made, machine stitched
10. found two broken ribs
11. possible the front black ruffle is an add on, it is basted on and seems to be a newer lace
12. I have a 3-4 of these, this one is in the best condition I have found
approximate measurements
1. around front edge 28 in.
2. front to back will expand to 15 in.
3. around the neck 8 in.
4. ties each 24 in. long
