Note: After remove the old brake pads from the calipers, remember to push the pistons back. Only in this way you can put new pads in. Otherwise, the gap between the brake pads will be too small and the brake pads can't fit in.

  1. Occasionally, the brake pads cannot be installed in because of the clearance is too narrow. The solution is to press the piston back with the hydraulic brake pistion press.
  2. When replacing the brake pads of the hydraulic brake, do not pinch the brake handle after removing the old brake pads, otherwise the piston will fall off and leak oil.
  3. When the brake pads rub against the disc, use the clearance adjuster to make the distance between the disc and the brake pads on both sides the same.
  4. When your brake caliper is wire controlled, you can adjust the clearance between the disc and the brake pad by adjusting the screws on the back of the caliper.
  5. When your brake makes a strange noise, it means that the brake disc is dirty by oil. You need to use special disc cleaner to clean the disc or replace the disc.
