Originally designed in a form similar to traditional porcelain paint palettes used for ink and pigment mixing, this piece was later also used as a serving or snack dish.

This vintage Chinese porcelain covered serving dish features a classic blue and white dragon motif, symbolizing power, strength, and good fortune. The piece includes a fitted lid and a divided interior tray, making it ideal for serving snacks, appetizers, or condiments.

The exterior is richly decorated with detailed cobalt blue dragons among swirling clouds, while the interior features smooth glazed compartments arranged in a floral swirl design. A traditional Chinese factory mark is present on the underside.

A beautiful display piece for collectors of Asian ceramics, as well as a functional serving dish for entertaining.
