PS... I don't know if this is a zither instrument or not...the catalog shows it as being a pianoette so... the sheet music is designed to make it easy for a beginner to play songs. A series of numbers are on the sheet music and correspond to the numbered strings as identified on the wooden base, under the strings. Follow the numbers and play the song! Voila! Good luck!
