First, let me give you some background on this set of mystical Leklai, as you may be wondering why Ajarn O calls it "Leklai Khamai" (which does not mean "stolen"). The epic of this mystical Leklai goes like this: "Luang Pu Ruesi" and "Luang Pu Kham" were both revered monks from the southern Isan region (using pseudonyms as both have already died). They were close friends, like brothers in the spiritual sense.

One day Luang Pu Ruesi arranged with Luang Pu Kham to create the mystical Leklai from a cave. After performing the ceremony and successfully receiving a small crowd, Luang Pu Ruesi kept everything to himself without sharing anything with Luang Pu Kham. This caused Luang Pu Kham to become so dissatisfied that they broke off the ties and never reconciled even in death.

The mystical Leklai remained with Luang Pu Ruesi for the rest of his life, and after his death, his disciples wanted the Leklai among themselves. However, they encountered a problem: how to make the Leklai. Despite trying different methods, they faced strange and ominous events that terrified them.

Although Luang Pu Ruesi has instructions on dividing the Leklai, none of the monks or disciples in the temple could understand the method. Despite looking for someone knowledgeable about the mystical qualities of Leklai, no one could. Eventually, as if fate intervened, one of Luang Pu Ruesi's disciples met "Ta Pien", a man with a deep knowledge of rituals associated with the mystical Leklai. They brought him the instructions, hoping he could use the Leklai.

Ta Pien quickly understood what Luang Pu had instructed and became the only one able to understand the mystical Leklai. True to his nature, however, Ta Pien did not do things in vain." When the disciples gave him the Leklai divide into grains the size of rice grains, he would keep a few grains to himself. This was not entirely theft as he had a right to it.

Although he was an expert, even Ta Pien struggled with the power of this mystical Leklai. He could not keep it in his house for long. Eventually, he decided to offer it to Ajarn O for custody and visited him regularly to sell other amulets and talismans. The mystical Leklai he made as an offer, not for money.

The first time Ajarn O received the Leklai, he used his supernatural powers to calm it down. He kept some to himself, blew some into his students (like Officer Watcharin), and put some in amulets or gave them tight followers. Even a famous monk demanded a piece and paid a heavy price, committing Ajarn O.

Over time, the mystical Leklai's fame spread as people experienced his wonderful power. Those who witnessed his abilities wanted some for themselves, but there wasn’t enough to go around.” Ajarn O was looking for more from Ta Pien who agreed to give him another piece without expecting anything in return as he saw himself only as the Keeper to pass it on to someone of greater merit.

After Ta Piens death, his daughter, aware of her limitations, is the Leklai, brought the remaining Leklai to Ajarn O. In total, Ajarn O received about 40 grains of this mystical Leklai by Ta Pien.

The mystical Leklai, named "Leklai Khamai" by Ajarn O, was delivered without difficult rituals or dangerous expeditions. Ajarn O compared himself to "Ta Yoo" in Thai idiom, where others around the Leklai, but in the end it is effortless. Hence the name "Leklai Khamai" (meaning Ta Yoo Leklai) was born.

Ajarn O placed 31 grains Leklai Khamai bottled, dipped in "Pak Kad Oil" (originally from Sayajee, the head of the revered Nokaman Wingain sect of Mandalay). Each bottle was numbered for 31 lucky people.
