Originally released in 1997, Welcome To Our World introduced the futuristic, off‑kilter production style that would define Timbaland’s influence on late‑90s and early‑2000s hip‑hop and R&B. Reissued in 2021, the album blends elastic rhythms, chopped vocal textures, and playful lyricism, featuring key collaborators including Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, Ginuwine, and Shaunta Montgomery. With hits like Up Jumps Da’ Boogie and Luv 2 Luv U, this reissue brings a landmark moment in Virginia’s hip‑hop sound back into circulation.
