This plug-in throttle mounts next to your HMI on your Globe bike and lets you motor up to 20mph without pedaling. Need to go faster? Pedal assist will still be there to give you a boost to 28mph after the throttle reaches its limit. The throttle’s extra burst of torque makes entering and exiting traffic safer and faster, but still allows you to use pedal assist to increase efficiency and range.

The speed at which the motor will stop supporting may vary significantly by region and is determined by local requirements. It may also affect range; a higher speed limit may result in less range.

California riders: CA SB 1271 mandates that e-bikes with throttles be Class 2, limited to 20MPH. To use your Globe with a throttle in California, visit an authorized retailer to install Class 2 firmware.
