Large vintage American flag by Valley Forge Flag Co., with 48 sewn/stitched stars and brass grommets. Size is marked 5’ x 9½’ on the hoist. Great display size for a wall, garage, shop, porch, or patriotic décor.

Includes original 1946 Veterans Administration postal contents label (May 1946) marked “Official Business,” noting the parcel contained one U.S. flag being returned to the Government (see photos). A cool piece of provenance to accompany the flag.
