This radio is in nearly perfect cosmetic condition. As you can see in pics even the plastic strip inside the battery compartment is clear and doesn't show any age wear as is often typical. 

I tested the radio with headphones and it tunes in AM and FM and PSB very well. When unplugged the headphones I was not getting sound from the external speaker. I am not sure if there is a setting that I need to use or if it should default to the speaker with nothing plugged in. I would imagine if there is a switch inside the headphone jack that could be at fault or it has a loose connection to speaker perhaps - or like I said maybe I don't know how to use it.  The light works and the meter works very well also.  

I'm still testing it further to try and get sound on the speaker, for now I would assume there is an issue with the external speaker sound.
