This is a beautiful romantic Antique folio. The cover has Wedgewood cameo at it’s as decoration and is set onto a stunning Pollard Oak veneer cover decorated with intricate brass rope and elaborate brass bosses or corner protectors.
Similar Cupid as Oracle cameo’s date to 1810.
The original Wedgwood factory was opened by Josiah Wedgwood in 1769 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.
This is a stunning piece and a rare find. The leather is worn as is the binding. There is a pocket for papers or letter. Condition is as seen in the photographs. Antique and well used.
