The Pimpire Strikes Back, a 2013 mixtape masterpiece by Roc Marciano of Long Island, N.Y., featuring Action Bronson, Meyhem Lauren, Cormega, and more, is now available on CD.The CD features many classics from the Busta Rhymes-led 90's N.Y.collective Flipmode Squad and the Pete Rock-led unit The UN, as well as solo work starting with his first album "Marcberg" (2010) and collaborations with Oh No/The Alchemist and others.This album is one of his most important works, but at the time it was only released digitally, on analog vinyl, and on a small number of CD-Rs.This is his first CD release.The interplay with his strong guest lineup is a masterpiece, while his solo mic presence and the quality of his own beats are also well-documented.
