Bought this as “new open box”. It comes with original box and original packaging/padding. Once I tried using it, I immediately had some problems. See the error message about the scanner. It powers on, connects to wifi and goes through all menus and maintenance programs as it should. I can’t say for 100 percent if it prints correctly but it is in immaculate condition, not a scratch on it. From the research I’ve done, the cartridges themselves contain the print heads so there shouldn’t be a printer issue with clogged or dirty print heads, if you put new ink cartridges in. Which is why I purchased it in the first place, I assumed I’d be golden with just new ink. But then I got the error message about the scanner and also the other message about not being able to connect to web services. This is a really cool, sleek looking machine that almost looks more like a gaming console than a printer/scanner. I truly believe either a collector or someone with some technical skills could bring this back from the dead and either have themselves a great, cool machine or be able to flip it. I saw one sold recently for 300 dollars 🤷🏻‍♂️. I believe this to be a desirable unit if it was in perfect working order but still worth something to the right person. All offers considered.
