Rare large  wooden  Buddha statue depicted in Mara Vijai posture. Northern Thailand area , Tai Yai tribe. Statue still retains most  of the original lacquer with traces of gilt.  No repair have been made on this statue. Part of the private Japanese collection.<ZF52RKT>  

Material: wood with natural patination , paint and gilt with losses on lacquer and gilt areas due to the age.

Age: 18-19th century
