DELICATE 

SILVER FILIGREE

CANNETILLE PANEL 

BRACELET

Beautiful vintage handmade sterling silver

 Cannetille filigree wire panel bracelet.

There are five panels plus the clasp,

each decorated with eighteen super fine

tiny spider-like filigree flowers separated

by six more four-petal flowers looped

together in such a delicate way it

feels like you're wearing a spiders web.

It is unsigned and unmarked but tests 

positive for sterling silver or better.

 It is a superbly hand crafted bracelet. 

Filigree work like this has been produced

all around the world so can't say definitively

where is was made but they were skilled

where ever it was.

Age estimated at c.1970

 Classic open box push clasp.

Snaps shut well and still retains

the original safety chain.

Great piece.

CONDITION

In very good original condition showing

some signs of age and use.

Three of the flowers that join the panels are

darker underneath - might be is part

of the original manufacturing process

or might be from a solder repair - not sure-

see close-up photo of most obvious.

It measures approximately 20cm long

 (7 7/8" approx.)

Can't open it up with safety chain so

this is close but not exact

2cm wide (3/4")

It weighs 16.6 grams

Australia Post have opted out of this

onto a 3^rd party to handle which we
