5.If the Flow Indicator Light (⑦) does not illuminate, check if the circulation pump is turned on. If the pump is already on, verify that its flow rate and head meet the requirements. If the pump flow rate / head is too low, replace it with a higher-flow pump.
The 11/18KW high power unit that is not powered by a plug, but by hardwiring. Please have it installed by a licensed electrician to ensure proper operation. Please read the product manual carefully before installation and follow the manual requirements. The heater should be installed in conjunction with the circulation pump to make your purchase hassle-free.
The Attention!
1. Operates at 220V via split-phase power, needs two separate 110V hot wires for installation.
2. Operation sequence:
Turn on the water pump first, then the thermostat;when shutting down, turn off the thermostat first, wait for a moment (depending on the power of the thermostat, ranging from 10 seconds to 1 minute) and then turn off the water pump.
4.The entire machine is warranted for one year, excluding cases of improperuse or operation by the user and excluding wear parts.
5.It is more effective when used as auxiliary heating. For direct heating, machine with higher power should be selected.
Important Note:
1. The thermostat is prohibited from using booster pumps and can only use circulating water pumps (flow rate/head can refer to the recommended table). If any quality or safety issues arise from the use of booster pumps, the customer shall bear the responsibility themselves.
2. During installation, the inlet and outlet pipes must not be smaller than the reserved inlet and outlet pipe connectors on the thermostat device. For example, if the reserved inlet and outlet connectors of the thermostat are external threads 5.5KW-18KW: 1.5 inches. If the inlet and outlet pipes are too thin, it will lead to insufficient flow, excessive pressure in the machine's inner tank, which can damage the thermostat and pose safety hazards.
3. For this 11kW / 18kW pool heater, a circulation pump with 1–3 HP is sufficient to meet the required flow rate.
