45th Infantry Division in the Korean War

The item contains a shoulder sleeve insignia encased in a  beautiful walnut 11"x14" frame.  The background contains  historic details of the 45th Infantry Division's action in Korea during the Korean War: The Jamestown Line near Chorwon and Battles where they defended the US/UN perimeter, T-Bone Hill, Arsenal and Eerie, Old Baldy and Pork Chop Hill.   A map of  the Korean Peninsula; Major Campaigns/Battles; and Division Order of Battle.  The 45th Infantry was one of two and the first National Guard unit to deploy, first to Japan and then to Korea.  the Division was redeployed to the United States in April of 1954.
