The Raspberries' 1974 album, Starting Over, catalog number ST-11329, is the fourth and final studio album from the power-pop band. While it was not as commercially successful as their earlier work, peaking at No. 143 on the Billboard pop album chart, it has been highly praised by critics, with Rolling Stone naming it its rock record album of the year for 1974.

The album marked a stylistic shift for the band, moving towards a more aggressive arena rock and hard rock sound, influenced by bands like The Who. It also featured a new lineup, with drummer Michael McBride and bassist Scott McCarl replacing original members Jim Bonfanti and Dave Smalley.

The LP is often considered a concept album, with the first side chronicling the band's disillusionment with the music business and life on the road, while the second side focuses on the many aspects of love. The album's single, "Overnight Sensation (Hit Record)," reached No. 18 on the pop singles chart. The album also includes "I Don't Know What I Want," which is considered a tribute to The Who.
