This is a beautiful large antique Ideal baby doll, measuring approximately 26 inches tall, dating to the late 1930s–early 1940s.

She features a composition head and limbs with a cloth stuffed body and is marked “Ideal Doll Made in USA.”

Her face has a sweet closed mouth expression with sleep eyes that open and close, real upper lashes, and painted lower lashes.

The internal cry mechanism is present but non working, which is typical for dolls of this age. Overall surface wear, finish, and construction are consistent with an authentic antique Ideal doll.

She is dressed in a soft pink outfit with lace trim, as shown. A lovely example for an Ideal collector, vintage nursery display, or early American doll collection.
