These square headed square nails are popular for cabinet work and some furniture applications


  • You don't see these very often
  •  These were used for boxes, drawers, picture frames, and all sorts of furniture
  • These nails likely were machine made in the mid 1800’s to the early 1900s
  • Machine made nails came into use in the 1820's and were made until the common wire nails replaced them
  • Some light rust is on the nails from their many years of storage and were not ever used
  • These nails are 1 1/2" long
  • The heads are 5/64 square
  • The nails are 3/64 square at the blunt tip
