Answer: The storage product's factory capacity is usually calculated in decimal as 1K=1000, while computers use binary algorithm 1K=1204. In addition, some of the capacity listed on the storage device will be used for formatting and other functions, not all for data storage. Therefore, there may be a certain difference between the displayed capacity and the nominal capacity of the product. The actual available data storage capacity will be lower than the capacity listed on the product, for example, 1000G=932G
Why is the transfer speed of the hard drive slower than indicated on my computer?
Answer: The maximum speed of the product is obtained through testing in the manufacturer's laboratory. The speed indicated on the product may vary in actual performance due to differences in host equipment, usage environment, hard drive capacity, and other factors. The actual speed shall prevail.
