Installation Steps:
1.Warning: When installing the handbrake module, do not plug in the power plug first.
2.Check the brake disc clearance. It is recommended to replace the brake disc if the wear is less than 50% (the thickness of new brake pads is about 7.5mm).
3.Install the electronic hand brake to the fixing bracket and lock the screws.
4.First, pass the hand brake cable through the rear axle and insert it into the brake caliper slot, ensuring the ball head will not fall out. Secondly, secure it with the limit clip.
5.Loosen the gear.
6.Install the brake disc.
7.Adjust the clearance between the brake pad and the brake disc:
1)Adjust the brake disc clearance and tighten it until the wheels cannot rotate.
2)Adjust 3-4 gears back. At this time, the brake disc may rub slightly. This is normal; the handbrake computer will automatically adjust it.
3)Ensure the clearance is consistent for both wheels.
8.Installing disc brake.
9.Install the wheel.
10.Finally, install the plug, connect to the diagnostic computer, and clear any fault codes.
Attentions:
1.The clearance between the brake disc and the brake pad must be adjusted. Failure to do so may result in the following:
2.Different wheel clearances will cause loud noise.
3.Excessive assembly causes the brake module to lock internally and store fault codes (emergency unlocking and mechanical failure). Excessive clearance will lead to cable unhooking at both ends.
Final Reminder:
★ It is not allowed to program with automotive diagnostic equipment during loading!!! Programming will not work. ★
