Hillar Bergman - Old Time and Favorite Fiddle Tunes Volume 1 (NQD 8879). This 1991 tape features old time fiddle music by the late Michigan artist, Hillar Bergman. Bergman was a Michigan artist known for old-timey fiddle and stoneware sculptures. He could often be seen at art fairs and farmer�s markets all over Michigan. Bergman died in 2024 but had owned Hemlock Pottery in Hemlock, Michigan and was well-known for his �cone-men� clay sculptures. Titles include: Red Wing; Tennessee Waltz; Flop Eared Mule; Over the Waves; Jambalaya; Your Cheating Heart; Golden Slippers; Waltz Across Texas; Pop Goes the Weasel; Turkey in the Straw; Blue Eyes Crying; Yellow Rose of Texas; Westphalia Waltz; You Are My Sunshine; Mocking Bird; Red River Valley; Release Me; Oh Susanna!, and Little Bird. Tape is still sealed.
