Hillar Bergman - Gospel Volume 2 (NQD 8880). This 1991 tape features old time fiddle music by the late Michigan artist, Hillar Bergman. Bergman was a Michigan artist known for old-timey fiddle and stoneware sculptures. He could often be seen at art fairs and farmer's markets all over Michigan. Bergman died in 2024 but had owned Hemlock Pottery in Hemlock, Michigan and was well-known for his "cone-men" clay sculptures. Titles include: What a Friend We Have in Jesus; Do Lord; Amazing Grace; Saints Go Marching In; I Love to Tell the Story; I Shall Not Be Moved; Old Rugged Cross; This is the Day; Just a Closer Walk; Circle Be Unbroken; Day at a Time; Mansion Over the Hilltop; Sweet Bye and Bye, Standing on the Promises; Washed in the Blood; It is No Secret; This World is Not My Home; When the Roll is Called; Jesus Loves the Little Children; and, Victory in Jesus. Tape is still sealed.
