This fabulous collection of vintage photographs from Broadway’s Golden Age) was part of the Daniel Bloom collection.: Daniel Bloom was a Chicago born theater enthusiast. While all six I believe to be part of his collection, only for our stamps, Daniel Blum collection. All six have catalogue numbers. Three of the six have a stamp, indicating the photographs came from Vandamnn studio.
There’s a lot of six photographs showcase, fabulous female phenoms of the era. Women who really push the boundary and redefined life on and off the stage. Included here are two photographs from Helen Hayes from”What Every Woman Knows”; a photograph of Tallulah Bankhead in her role as Regina in “”The Little Foxes (1939); Ethel Barrymore in “The Corn is Green”; Katherine Cornell’s as Elizabeth Barret in the “The Barrett’s of Whipple Street (1931) and and actress from”Scsndal” from 1919 dresses in Edwardian androgynous fix hunting gear.
