Pre-owned. I bought this 15-20 years ago. There's some surface scratches (nothing deep) from normal use. 
Some minor discoloration on the exterior. See all photos.

Factory seconds with these flaws:
1. "S" marked under the handle to indicate it's factory seconds.
2. There's an indent near the inside rivets. Doesn't affect cooking, just a cosmetic issue. See photos.
3. The top edges of the pot are sharp. This was the only D5 I bought at the time, so I don't know whether or not it's normal.

*This will be shipped without the original box due to high shipping costs. The saucepan will come in a Costco brown box only. This will save a few pounds in weight. I'm going to throw the original box away.
