Unique, and Original, a rare large CARTIER - American Sterling Silver- 925 - HANDMADE Picture Frame, circa 1940's.

...Rectangular window in flat surround, measuring 10" X 8"

...With glass, silk moiré lining, and laminate back and hinged easel support.One  tiny chip on top corner of said support. (I will  leave  a  minor touch up to  new owner)

...Fully marked including retailer’s stamp, number 555-42 and phrase “Hand Made.”

...All original.  Original felt  case  could use a proper wash/freshening as it  looks to have a  little dust and a smudge here and there  from over the years of storage and did a wonderful job protecting  this piece for all these years (not used since the 70's).
