This lot has 6 maps all marked penn prints of New York and company from Virginia stamp on the back on thick cardboard or the image is glued on cardboard or printed on I cannot tell. and were framed prior as you can see the aging around the border. and a Declaration of the United States looks like parchment paper glued to a very light weight feels like styrofoam. The declaration has no marks on the back. The declaration also looks like it was folded at one time. Four of the maps have descriptions in lower left corner and I wrote down what they all say- Map of Europe from the Mercator Hindus Atlas 1663 with portion of America in upper left. - Lakes by Guillame France 1770- Century Global Map by N. Visscher with California depicted as an island the 4 th picture says something Gium as the first part of the word is cut off then New England and Virginia by N Visscher date unknown but prior to 1682. Very beautiful collection. The maps are stamped Walkers Pearisburg Virginia phone number 176 frames mirrors prints art supply wall papers. I did find similar maps listed between 3to 500 but they also were framed. None of these have frames but did at one point in time. I did not clean these. All images come as is and sold as is with spots and all as I don’t want to damage the image. I cannot verify the age of these prints but they are stamped Penn Prints I just do know know when they were printed.
