🔧 Pro Installation Tips (Vital for Longevity)

Soak Friction Plates: You MUST soak the new friction plates in genuine transfer case fluid (MB 236.14 or equivalent) for at least 30 minutes before installation. Installing dry will cause immediate burnout.
Reset Adaptations: After rebuilding, you MUST perform a "Transfer Case Adaptation Reset" using a professional scanner (Star/Xentry). Skipping this will cause the car to think the old worn clutches are still there, leading to harsh shifts.
Check Chain Stretch: While the case is open, inspect your drive chain. This kit rebuilds the clutch stack, but a stretched chain can also cause noise.
