Antique Wooden Advertising Hanger – Miller Bros Clothiers – 1729 Pink Ave Brooklyn NY – Dickens 1867

Authentic antique wooden advertising clothes hanger stamped “Miller Bros.” and “1729 Pink Ave., Brooklyn, N.Y.” with additional marking “Clothiers – Dickens 1867.” This is an excellent example of early retail advertising, produced for in-store or customer use by a Brooklyn clothier during the late 19th to early 20th century.

The hanger is constructed of solid wood with a turned wooden crossbar and original metal hook. The stamped lettering remains clearly legible, and the piece displays a warm, aged patina that collectors look for in genuine early advertising items.

Such hangers were functional objects that rarely survived intact, making marked examples especially desirable to collectors of:

A strong display piece on its own or grouped with other early store signage and advertising.
