Pysanka is one of the ancient forms of Ukrainian folk painting, in which our ancestors embodied their aspirations and faith.

gave the beginning of a new life. Therefore, pysanka is a symbol of

the spring revival of nature, the birth of life,

the continuation of the family, a symbol of the sun, warmth and eternity.

THE SYMBOLISM OF PYSANS IS RELATED NOT ONLY TO SIGNS, BUT ALSO TO COLOR:

red - love and joy;

green - the revival of life, the awakening of nature;

yellow - life and warmth;

blue - sky, water, air;

black and brown - earth;

white - purity and innocence.
