The Fortune M3 metal detector with a PL2943 housing and a large 7x4 Winstar display is a selective IB metal detector with metal discrimination and induction balance. Metal discrimination features a numerical and bar graph display of the VDI, similar to more expensive devices such as MINELAB, FISHER, XP Metal Detectors, and GARRETT (different metal objects and alloys have their own numerical values).
