Fortune M3 Metal Detector (Fortune M3) with PL2943 Housing and 7x4 LCD Display by Winstar
The Fortune M3 metal detector with a PL2943 housing and a large 7x4 Winstar display is a selective IB metal detector with metal discrimination and induction balance. Metal discrimination features a numerical and bar graph display of the VDI, similar to more expensive devices such as MINELAB, FISHER, XP Metal Detectors, and GARRETT (different metal objects and alloys have their own numerical values). The device is multi-frequency, allowing you to use different frequencies. It allows you to mask and exclude unwanted metals, such as iron.
Specifications:
Discrimination: VDI number, sinograph.
Target sound: 90-tone, 4-tone, and two-tone.
Ground balance: manual, automatic.
Ferrite tuning: automatic.
Sensor balance compensation: automatic.
Screen backlight. Winstar 7x4 display.
Latest firmware available.
Masks. Ability to mask unwanted alloys.
Several search algorithms.
Pinpointer.
Tuning the device to the frequency of the existing sensor.
Ability to connect a search sensor: 5-20 kHz.
DD sensor 30x32 cm.
PL2943WH housing (dimensions): 140x100x30 mm.
The PL2943WH is a slim, waterproof instrument housing made of impact-resistant, heat-resistant ABS plastic (UL-94V0). It provides protection against dust and moisture ingress according to the IP65 standard.
Main features of this assembly:
Lithium-ion battery. Not included in the kit; batteries cannot be shipped from Ukraine by air.
A detachable, adjustable stem with a shock-resistant plastic lower section and a high-strength aluminum upper section coated with factory-applied powder paint.
The high-quality, factory-made, double-sided PCB features a protective mask and plated holes.
Regarding the question:
1. The complete unit is powered by 3.7 V (a 2200 mAh 18650 lithium battery).
2. If you are making your own power supply, you can use anything from 2 V to 12 V.
3. The power connector is for a 5.5 x 2.1 mm plug.
4. The pinout of the sensor connector is as follows:
1 – RX +
2 – RX -
3 – Shield
4 – TX +
5 – TX -
5. Sensor frequency: 7.2 kHz (default).
6. TX-RX spacing: 1.7-1.8 kHz.
Fortuna M3/Fortune M 3 air detection range:
DD 320x300 mm, 7 kHz/current 86 mA/frequency spread 1.8 kHz/sens 6.
5 kopecks 1981: 41 cm;
3 kopecks 1910: 37 cm.
Average air detection range = 32-57 cm for coins;
