Antique J. Frank Bunnell (JFB) gilt brass locket compact, dating to about 1900–1915. Hinged double-sided design with original mirror and original velvet powder puff.
Deeply engraved with a woman in a garden scene surrounded by scrollwork and floral Art Nouveau detail. Scalloped edge and chain-ring bail show it was meant to be worn as a necklace compact.
Powder pad is stamped JFB, confirming period jeweler-grade production. Gilt brass construction with natural wear and patina from age.
These were carried as early vanity and photo lockets before modern purses were common and are now collected as Victorian and Edwardian jewelry.
Complete example with original interior — not a modern reproduction.
