Conrad Veidt German / British Actor 1893-1943, born in Berlin 1893, many films, best remembered for his performances in, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), The Man Who Laughs (1928), The Thief of Bagdad (1940) and especially remembered for his performance along-side Humphry Bogart playing Rick Blaine as Gestapo Major Heinrich Strasser in the 1942 classic Casablanca.
