clasp, containing the Old and New Testaments translated out of the original
tongues and with the former translations diligently compared and revised by His
Majesty's special command. Printed by G. E. Eyre and W. Spottiswood, "Printers
To The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty”. Warehouse 189, Fleet Street, London.

Good overall condition, bound in full red Morocco with gilt
tooling, gilt brass edges and working clasp. On fine India paper, Gilt edges, externally,
smart with light wear and rubbing to the spine extremities. Minor mark to the
boards with minor losses of leather colour to the top and tail of the spine.
Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with scattered minor discolouration.
Inscribed, Elisabeth King and James King, Bedford, December 26th
1856. Condition commensurate with age and wear.
