What is Dermax Therapeutic Shampoo?

Dermax therapeutic shampoo is recommended if you have scaly scalp conditions, such as dandruff or seborrhoeic dermatitis. This is effective at lifting and clearing away scaly skin.

This shampoo is suitable to be use by adults and children. 

What is the active ingredient in Dermax Therapeutic Shampoo and what does it do?

Dermax Therapeutic Shampoo contains the active ingredient benzalkonium chloride 0.5% w/w to combat the yeast that can make your scalp condition worse. It is effective at lifting and washing away the scale. Benzalkonium Chloride is what is called a surfactant. Surfactants work to loosen any dead skin and remove it and also provide mild antiseptic properties, as some bacteria can make the condition worse.

Dermax also contains coconut oil to soothe the scalp and condition the hair.

• Keep undiluted shampoo away from the eyes.
