Highly attractive Ronson Butane Varaflame Petite lighter with a raised Seal of the President of the United States.  An apparently as new cigarette lighter with the Presidential seal in the original Ronson case. 

This lighter comes from the collection of White House barber Steve Martini who cut the hair of Presidents Eisenhower, JFK, LBJ and Nixon - and this wonderful collectible was surely presented to him by one of these leaders. 

While we are not certain what administration this came from, we do not that a similar style lighter which actually belonged to Jackie Kennedy sold at auction several years ago so we surmise this very well could have been a gift from JFK.

Steve Martini began his career as the personal barber to Gen. George C. Marshall, Army chief of staff during World War II, and other notables.  He was then chosen by the Secret Service, since he already had high-level security clearance, to cut the hair of President Dwight D. Eisenhower.  He would continue in that role for Presidents John F.  Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard M. Nixon during his years in Washington.
