The Ford Mustang Dark Horse is a high-performance version of the S650 Ford Mustang. Designed by Chris Stevens, the Dark Horse was designed more for track performance, filling a niche similar to the previous Boss 302 and GT350 models, being intended to slot into that niche. It is powered by a 5.0L Coyote V8, modified with forged pistons and a unique crankshaft design, mated to a 6-speed Tremec TR-3160 manual; the engine produces 500 horsepower.
