Cypriot-born artist Nil Burak began her professional music career in 1975 at Istanbul's renowned Playboy nightclub, where she was given her stage name by the legendary Turkish singer Zeki Müren. Benim Adım Şarkıcı is her second studio album, originally released in 1979. After 45 years, this classic album was reissued on LP in 2024.
