Antique gilt brass decorative tray / box featuring highly detailed ornate filigree work in a Rococo / Baroque revival style.

The piece stands on four small feet and displays intricate floral and scroll motifs on all sides, with an openwork design and a solid metal base. The craftsmanship and decorative detailing suggest late 19th to early 20th century European manufacture.
