There are three testing statuses of the meter: Waiting for testing, Testing in progress, and Test completed. - Waiting for testing: the "Temperature difference" data is zero and flashes to indicate waiting for testing. Under this status, Press the "Reset/test" button to start testing. - Testing in progress: the "Temperature difference" data stops flashing, and the infrared lamps are lit up. After the 1-min test ends, the infrared lamps are turned off and the instrument automatically enters into the status of end of testing. - Test completed: temperature values are held. Press "Reset/test" to release the data-hold and enter into the status of waiting for testing. 1. Power On Power the instrument on by plugging into 220V AC power source. 2. "Reset/Test" Button When the "Temperature difference" LED flashes, the data on "Temperature" LED refers to the actual temperature in the current test box. When the temperature difference between left and right test boxes falls within 1 degree, the test results are more accurate. When the "Temperature difference" LED flashes and the gap in actual temperature between left and right test boxes falls within 1 degree, press the button "Reset/test" to begin the test, with both infrared lamps lit up and the temperature in the left and right test boxes increases. The test will end after one minute, and the infrared lamps turn off. The temperature data displays the maximum temperature reached in the corresponding test chamber after the lamps were turned on, while the temperature difference data shows the temperature rise during the test (i.e., the final temperature minus the initial temperature). Both the temperature and temperature difference values remain unchanged. Press the "Reset/Test" button again to reset the temperature difference data to zero and make it flash. The temperature data will be released from the hold state and display the actual current temperature inside the test chamber. |
| Temperature Comparison Test |

The instrument is equipped with two independent infrared lamps and temperature probes, allowing for a comparative test of the thermal insulation performance of two different film-coated glass samples. The testing procedure is as follows: 1. Connect the instrument to the power supply and place the two test samples into the left and right test chambers. At this point, the "Temperature difference" data will be zero and flashing, while the "Temperature" data will display the actual temperature inside the test chambers. 2. Press the "Reset/Test" button to turn on both infrared lamps and start the test. The temperature in the left and right test chambers will begin to rise. 3. After one minute, the test ends, and the infrared lamps turn off. The temperature values displayed on the digital screens for the left and right test chambers will show the final temperatures, while the "Temperature difference" data will indicate the temperature increase during the test. These results will remain unchanged until the data is reset by pressing the button. |
| Precautions |
|
1. After the test is completed, the fan will automatically start to cool down the system and stop after 4 minutes. 2. Once a test is completed, the test data will remain unchanged. Press the "Reset/Test" button again to reset the temperature difference and temperature data. After resetting, the temperature difference data will return to zero and flash, while the displayed temperature data will show the actual temperature inside the test chamber. |
