An iconic piece of rock history, the 1965 Gibson SG Junior delivers raw, unfiltered tone and timeless style. Built during one of Gibson’s most revered eras, this SG Junior combines simplicity with performance-ready playability. Featuring a solid mahogany body paired with a set mahogany neck, a 24.75” scale length, and a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays; its minimalist electronics consist of a single bridge-position P-90 single-coil pickup wired to master volume and tone controls, delivering the raw, mid-forward bite and dynamic response that defined countless recordings, while a wraparound bridge provides direct string-to-body transfer and sustain, all finished in Gibson’s iconic Cherry nitrocellulose lacquer that highlights the SG’s lightweight, contoured double-cutaway design and unmistakable mid-’60s character.
