Magnetek New Century C034 Electric Motor 

For sale- a Magnetek New Century C034 Electric Motor as pictured, new in the box.  I assume that if you are looking at this you have some idea what it is.  The packing material in the pictures obscures the fact that the motor shaft extends out both ends, with an overall length of 51.26 inches according to one website (where they had it priced “on sale” for $793.75).  Their description “Direct replacement for ITT Nesbitt HVAC wall units typically found in Hospitals, Schools, and Hotels and also found in ceiling units located in Auditoriums, Gymnasiums, and sport arenas.”  I measure the shaft length on one side as 21 11/16".

This is a 1/6HP single phase AC motor that turns at 800 RPM.  It was purchased at a county auction, I assume they had it as back up for an HVAC system in a school auditorium or gym.  I have the one pictured which appears to never have been out of the box.  I have another C034 that the box is badly torn up which would make it tough to ship.  If you can come and pick it up (27966) I would consider a substantial discount.  The one pictured is new old stock so their should be nothing wrong with it.  Given the high cost of shipping I will NOT accept a return.  Please make sure this is what you need before you buy.

UPDATE: the second Magnetek motor I think I could ship, would band the box to keep it from falling apart and to add "handles" for picking it up.  I also have an A.O. Smith C034, looks to be the same piece bought at the same time.  That box is in even worse shape, so probably have to stick with a pickup on that one.  I was going to offer to test the second Magnetek but it has four wires plus the plastic plug shown.  The A O Smith motor is missing that plug but I don't understand the L1 AND L2 plus a neutral for a 115VAC connection.
