Product Highlights

The Pentax PAMS 645 Photogrammetric Analytical Measurement System was originally developed for high-precision photogrammetry and analytical measurement in mapping and surveying applications. Extremely rare outside of institutional or laboratory use, only a handful of complete kits are known to exist in private collections worldwide. This system represents a unique convergence of optical engineering, scientific instrumentation, and Pentax’s medium format expertise.

It is ideally suited for: Museums preserving historical photographic technology; Universities and research institutions for study or demonstration; Serious Pentax collectors seeking historically significant equipment.

This Near Mint example, complete with its dedicated 220 film back and release cable, is a true rarity on the open market. Because sometimes, the rarest treasures aren’t just cameras — they’re the stories of how photography once measured the world.
