A lovely vintage Holly Hobbie collection featuring two First Edition books and the classic Colorforms Old Fashioned General Store stand-up play set, all dating to 1979, the original publication year for Holly Hobbie. Included are Holly Hobbie’s Time Book and Holly Hobbie’s Alphabet Book, both published in 1979 by American Greetings Corp. These are first edition originals, with copyright pages confirming the first publication year and no later printing statements. The books show light, age-appropriate cover wear consistent with vintage children’s books; interiors are intact and beautifully illustrated.

Also included is the Holly Hobbie Old Fashioned General Store Colorforms stand-up play set, featuring the illustrated storefront and character pieces. The set has been played with but appears appears nearly complete; however, due to the age of the set and the absence of an original contents checklist, completeness cannot be guaranteed. All pieces shown in the photos are included. 
 

This lot comes from a larger collection of original 1970s–1980s toys and paper goods acquired at auction and has been kept together to preserve its collectible and display appeal.
