"The Lonely Shepherd" is a hugely successful 1977 album by Romanian pan flutist Gheorghe Zamfir, featuring his iconic collaboration with German composer James Last.  The title track became an international hit used in films like Kill Bill and TV shows, known for its evocative pastoral sound.  It was a breakthrough international success for Zamfir, showcasing panpipe melodies with orchestral arrangements. The album includes classical-inspired pieces like Bach's "Air" and Handel's "Ombra Mai Fù," alongside popular themes, blending instrumental easy listening with classical crossover.

The condition of this particular album is as follows:

The cardboard sleeve is still encased in the original shrink wrap (not sealed) and so is in near-pristine condition, except for the opening edges, which show minimal wear.

The plastic cardboard sleeve appears to be in perfect condition.

The record itself VISUALLY appears to be in at least very good plus condition, and perhaps better. I see no scratches or other damage.

I HAVE NOT PLAYED THIS RECORD.

Since I cannot attest to or offer any guarantee regarding the condition of this record (please see “condition description” above), no return of this item will be accepted.
