This engine was removed from a freshwater 2015 Yamaha FX SVHO. The ski had been storm damaged and had water setting in the engine for an extended period of time. The ski only had 5 Hours of run time, and we did get it to run some before removal. There is a good amount of rust in the pan and the timing chain had some rust too. Compression went up as we ran it, and the engine did not knock. Great core to build off of, tear it down to clean and upgrade the internals!
