Starting off with a sail rubber sole secured by white stitching, the Jordan 1 Retro features the signature Nike swooshes on the quarter panels in leather and has a brown backstitch on the outlines. A similar stitching style is present on the mudguard, which meets a leather vamp with numerous perforations. Between the first eyelets is the deubré with the AF-1 writings on the metal tag. On the lateral collar is the "Air Jordan" logo of a basketball floating on water. It maintains the tan leather tone on other parts of the sneaker.

We love the layering on the quarter panels, arising from swooshes atop a leather base. The layers are more pronounced at the heel counter and are adorned by a dark sticker with a 1985 insignia.
